Steven Gwin's The True Lover's Farewell is one of my favorite marimba solos. This was my first four-mallet piece I learned and this piece really taught me how to be expressive and play things musically. Even though I can't play marimba anymore I have to thank this piece for teaching me those abilities that I will forever use in my musical life!
