Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Peņafrancia
Established only in 1985, Basilica Minore is the new home of our Lady of Peņafrancia, the Patroness of Bicol. Today, the Traslacion starts here when the image of Peņafrancia is led into procession and brought to the Naga Cathedral. The image of OUR LADY is then brought back here after the fluvial procession along the (Naga) Bicol River.
One of the most impressive stone churches in BICOL , PHILIPPINES . The NAGA METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL is the seat of the Archdiocese of Nueva Caceres . Nueva Caceres is the old name of Naga City.
